Hi, I’m Oliver “Olly” Sovenyhazy, a 15-year-old soccer enthusiast who lives and breathes the beautiful game. I’m proud to play for the Charleston Soccer Club and volunteer with the Charleston Battery USL professional soccer team, where I learn from some of the best in the game.

My mission with Olly On The Ball is to share my passion and knowledge with young players, helping them grow their skills and build a lifelong love for soccer. I believe that soccer isn’t just about the game—it’s about having fun, working hard, and learning important life lessons along the way.

Through Olly On The Ball, I aim to teach young soccer players that soccer isn’t just about winning but about having fun, working hard, and embracing the life lessons the game offers.

I believe that the best way to learn and grow in soccer is by having fun—something I strive to bring into every training session with the young athletes I mentor.

My ultimate goal is to become a professional soccer player
